Using an xbox 360 game pad I figured out a way to reduce input lag thus improving controller response time. I can't guarantee this will work for everyone because PC vary. Furthermore, some are not experiencing this problem at all so this really doesn't apply to you. Initially, I thought it was do to the monitor. However, for me that wasn't the case. I found out that if I reduce the number of frames rendered ahead (for me it's called flip queue size) my response time when steering improved. Not only did steering improved but braking improved as well. The car seems to slow down faster whenever I press the appropriate button. The end result is what you see in this video, better driving. I can squeeze pass other cars and take the inside lane when cornering at higher speeds (which is something I couldn't before). This can be done without the excessive wheel lock up (causing understeer), excessive tire smoke and I no longer have to start my turns early do to delay reaction. I am also able to steer around S turns and other types of corners at higher speeds.
